Magpul offers a nice peice that allows Magpul PMAG GEN M3 and GEN M2 MOE (30rd) owners the ability to tie two magazines together, for quicker reloads in the appropriate situations. The MagLink fits securely around two magazines, with dual screws ensuring the connection.
Seeing as I'm a fan of Magpul's product line, I decided to do a range test on the Maglink. I installed the Maglink, which requires a slotted screwdriver and about 30 seconds. I did a twist test, drop test, and there are no issues as a result. Shooting with the MagLink is not a burden, the rounds stay seated in the magazine and will not pop out with the action of the weapon. Moving from one magazine to another is an easy process. I set the MagLink up with no off-set or reverse (upside down), I simply shifted right after the one magazine was expended.
Overall I give this product a high grade given the build and the utility in making the PMAGs more versitile. One thing that might make them easier to use would be a quick-detatch (QD) lever system...but that's for Magpul to consider.
